These aren't just any coffees; they're meticulously hand-sorted at origin, ensuring only the highest quality makes it into our blend, boasting less than 3% minor defects per 100g.
The Beans: Roasted Weekly for Maximum Freshness
- Mexico – Oaxaca – Washed Process: This washed-process coffee from Oaxaca provides a rich foundation, contributing creamy caramel and milk chocolate notes that particularly shine through in milk-based drinks.
- Ethiopia – Fulasa Gesha – Grade 1 Natural Process: The naturally processed Grade 1 Ethiopian Gesha adds a vibrant layer of complexity, introducing delightful sweet fruit and floral nuances to the blend.
Our head roaster employs a precise and nuanced roasting method, meticulously developing each bean to unlock its full flavour potential. The signature "S curve" roasting profile—an aggressive charge into first crack, followed by a gentle, low-heat development through second crack—allows the natural sugars to caramelise, enhancing the acidity and sweetness of the coffee. Each roast is carefully monitored to guarantee the beans reach their peak flavour.

African Amigo delivers a harmonious blend of flavours: sweet strawberries, raspberries, lemon citrus, rich caramel, molasses, heavy creamy milk chocolate, and fragrant magnolia.
