Tea is a personal journey! Play with temperatures and steeping times to find your sweet spot. Hotter water? Bolder taste! Longer steep? Stronger brew! Embrace your inner Tea Master and create your perfect cup. TOP TIP - if you finding the tea bitter and astringent, lower the water temperature.
Ingredients:
Every 1 tsp or Teabag of Chai Society blend for 1 cup water,
1/2 cup milk (dairy or plant-based, such as almond or oat),
Sweetener to taste (optional)
Instructions:
Boil the Water 95-100 degrees: Bring 1 cup of water to a gentle boil in a small saucepan.
Add the Chai Blend: Add 1 tsp of Chai Society blend to the boiling water. Reduce heat to a simmer and let it brew for 5-7 minutes to allow the rich flavours and beneficial properties to infuse.
Incorporate Milk: Gradually stir in 1/2 cup of milk. Continue to simmer for an additional 3-5 minutes, allowing the spices to blend with the milk for a creamy, flavourful cup.
Sweeten to Taste: Add honey, maple syrup, or your preferred sweetener if desired.
Strain and Serve: Strain the chai through a fine mesh strainer into your mug, removing the spice remnants. Stir well and enjoy!
