Ingredients:
Every 1 tsp or Teabag of Spice Road Chai blend for 1 cup water,
1/2 cup milk (dairy or plant-based, such as almond or oat),
Sweetener to taste (optional)
Instructions:
Boil the Water 95-100 degrees: Bring 1 cup of water to a gentle boil in a small saucepan.
Add the Chai Blend: Add 1 tsp of Spice Road Chai blend to the boiling water. Reduce heat to a simmer and let it brew for 5-7 minutes to allow the rich flavours and beneficial properties of the herbs and spices to infuse.
Incorporate Milk: Gradually stir in 1/2 cup of milk. Continue to simmer for an additional 3-5 minutes, allowing the spices to blend with the milk for a creamy, flavourful cup.
Sweeten to Taste: Add honey, maple syrup, or your preferred sweetener if desired.
Strain and Serve: Strain the chai through a fine mesh strainer into your mug, removing the spice remnants. Stir well and enjoy!
